Job Description :
Quest Group is looking for a Systems Administrator for a client of our located in Power's Ferry Rd area of Atlanta. The position requires experience in managing and troubleshooting desktops and servers in a Windows environment at the corporate location. Person should also have experience configuring PCs and laptops for deployment to the field. 


  • Most qualified candidates will possess a 4-year Computer Science or related degree, or 3+ years of prior network management experience. 

  • Windows Server administration and security, versions 2003 through 2016. 

  • Knowledge and Experience with Windows Hyper-V and Office 365 environment 

  • Server and storage hardware, virtualization platforms and various backup software experience is required. 

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP

Required Qualifications :


• As a member of the Help desk team, respond to and resolve trouble tickets.  

• Participate in the “On-Call” rotation as required. 

• Engineering of SA-related solutions for various project and operational needs. 

• Install new / rebuild existing workstations, servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. 

• Install and configure systems that support infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications, to include CXT, Dynamics GP, SharePoint and Office 365. 

• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures and help desk procedures. 

• Contribute to and maintain system standards and documentation. 

 Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage internal and external resources such as Azure and QTS, etc. 

• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups. 

• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions using LabTech, WSUS, A/V dashboards, Nessus and others. 

• Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary. 

• Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary. 

• Create, change, and delete user accounts per request. 

• Provide Tier II/III other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.

• Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies. 

• Responsible for documenting and cross training the Help desk, Systems and Network personnel on all Level I and II events that impact the Infrastructure systems. 

• Accomplishes organization and departmental goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. 

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Shift: 1:00PM- 10:00PM
