Desktop Support Technician

Job Description :

Quest Group is currently seeking multiple experienced Desktop Support Technicians for one of our industry leading clients located in Alpharetta, GA.  These opportunities are Permanent opportunities that are slated to start immediately.  


 


Responsibilities:



  • Provide first level technical support to customers.

  • Troubleshoot and determine service problems with web, email and other Internet applications.

  • Install, troubleshoot and determine issues with PC hardware, software and peripherals.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints concerning technical problems with the system.

  • Receive, investigate, resolve and track trouble tickets in a timely manner.

  • Resolve/reset password and logon problems.

  • Resolve various printer and print job problems.

  • Setup users and resources on Active Directory.

  • Install, repair and configure to site specification new and used desktop computers.

  • Check-in/troubleshoot field tech equipment including computers and scanners.

  • Must comply with all aspects of the company health code of conduct including but not limited to Compliance with the Law and Regulations, Security Policies and Practices, Honesty and Fairness, Diversity and Respect, Conflict of Interest, Confidentiality, Health Care Fraud, Waste and Abuse.


 


Required Qualifications :

 


Qualifications and Skillset:



  • High School Diploma

  • Six months or more experience in IT help desk or equivalent education.

  • Six months or more experience in a call center environment preferred

  • One year certificate from college or technical school preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to read prepared documents

  • Respond to inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies

  • Effectively present information to employees, customers and top management.

  • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
